With a vibrant arts and culture scene, Olde Town visitors might go shopping at the Arvada Ceramic Arts Guild in the afternoon, have dinner at one of the area's many restaurants, then catch a production of “Macbeth” at the Festival Playhouse, or see the latest summer hit at the Olde Town Movie Theatre.

Arvada Neighborhoods

As housing prices begin to rebound around the country, Arvada's home prices, too, are slowly on the rise. Nevertheless, there are still great deals to be found in some wonderful Arvada neighborhoods. One of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Arvada is Saddle Brook, where homes were built between 2002 and 2005. Alkire Estates is another Arvada neighborhood, this one located on its western edge and consisting mostly of custom-built homes. With incredible mountain views and half- to one-acre lots, this particular Arvada development is another one of Arvada's premiere neighborhoods. For families looking for a less expensive older home, you might consider Maplewood Estates, an Arvada real estate development in the northwestern part of town that was built during the 60s and 70s. Lake Arbor is another Arvada neighborhood originally developed in the 70s. With homes situated around the Lake Arbor Golf Club and Lake Arbor Park, the Lake Arbor neighborhood is a great place to raise a family. The park stretches 60 acres, 30 of which include the lake itself. The lake is dotted with fishing docks, and throughout the park residents can enjoy pavilions and well-kept walking trails. In short, there's a neighborhood style for every kind of family within the attractive Arvada community.
